About Lady Literacy
Our Mission Statement:
In essence, we are a secular, female driven organization designed to empower, educate, and promote a stronger sense of community through literacy.

For us, that looks like reading books - but it also includes putting on bake sales, supporting small businesses, visiting museums, volunteering, and having a whole lot of fun with everything in between.
We want to create a space where we can explore our areas of interest together, whatever that may mean to each of us.

Meet The Founders
Mary and Quin
It was in the midst of a global pandemic that Mary and Quin found themselves filling all the blank space on their whiteboard and talking long into the night about an idea for a book club, but better. We created the Lady Literacy Book Club, partially as a way to get together with friends more often, however mostly to foster new ideas that would otherwise be forgotten. We created a space for our friends to voice their thoughts and opinions, and we want to help others do the same!
Tori, Lauren, and Madi
These three are the friends that helped make this dream an on-going reality. They are some of the original members of the book club and have stuck to it since, enjoying every minute. They have each taken on roles themselves to grow the organization and share our vision with people everywhere.
